01.  Open any folder.
02.  Click in menu Tools, Folder Options.
03.  Select the View Tab
04.  In the section Hidden files and folders, activate Show hidden files and folders.
05   Deactivate Hide protected operating system files.
06.  Deactivate option Hide Extensions for known files types.
07.  Click in button Apply and in OK. 

Windows 98

01.  Open any folder.
02.  Click in menu View, Folder Options.
03.  Select the View Tab.
04.  Activate Show All Files.
05.  Deactivate Hide Extensions for known files types.
06.  Click in button Apply and in OK.

Windows 95

01.  Open any folder.
02.  Click in menu View, Options.
03.  Select the View Tab.
04.  Activate Show All Files.
05.  Deactivate Hide MS-DOS file extensions for file types that are registered. 
06.  Click in button Apply and in OK.
